About Me
Architect, urban planning researcher, and co-founder of AGATE SARL and AGATE Engineering Consultants, firms with over 25 years of presence and expertise across Lebanon, the UAE, KSA, and Morocco. Through her senior practice, she has led a diverse portfolio of micro- and macro-scale projects, combining strategic planning with context-driven design approaches that respond to both local identity and regional dynamics. She is also the founder of AGATE Maison, a platform that reflects her commitment to refined, sustainable, and eco-friendly architectural expression and innovation.

Bridging academia and professional practice, Hala serves as a university instructor within the Faculty of Engineering, where she contributes to shaping future engineers and designers. Her teaching spans telecommunication and computer engineering, as well as architectural and interior design disciplines, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach that integrates technology with design. Her work embodies a strong commitment to research, sustainability, and forward-thinking urban strategies.

Beyond her professional and academic roles, Hala is deeply engaged in community development, public discourse, and cultural initiatives. She is the President of Meshwar Lebnen, an organization dedicated to promoting eco-tourism, local heritage, and sustainable territorial development across Lebanese regions. She also serves as a board member of Théâtre de Demain and DMO Jbeil, contributing to the advancement of cultural expression and destination management strategies.

Highly active in the public sphere, Hala regularly participates in community development and policy-oriented talk shows, advocating for sustainable practices and responsible urban governance. She is also engaged in civic and political dialogue as a member of committees such as Saydet al Jabal and Constitution First, where she contributes to discussions on national development and institutional integrity.
