Dr. Josiane Fahed-Sreih is a full time Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business at the Lebanese American University. She is the founder and currently the Director of the Institute of Family and Entrepreneurial Business at the Lebanese American University. She held the position of chairperson of both the departments of Management Studies at LAU and Marketing and Hospitality and was Assistant Dean at the School. She holds a Ph.D. from the Sorbonne University and is a fellow member of the Family Firm Institute, USA. Subsequent to being Radio One Lebanon Sales and Marketing Director, Cathryn founded La Une FM, which was a leading French FM radio station. She has promoted many international
artists in the region and organized the first Beirut International Jazz Festival. She participated in the founding and organization of many
festivals in the Middle East since 2000.
After extensive experience developing media projects in Beirut, she relocated to Dubai in 2003 and organized major
cultural, world class entertainment in the Gulf for private and government sectors, including major international artists such
as Pavarotti, Fairouz, Lionel Ritchie, The Bolshoi Ballet, and produced opera, musicals and ballet.
In 2009, her company conceptualized, developed and built the first Multipurpose Venue “The Palladium” in Dubai Media
City, a 3000 seat theatre which earned the “Best New Venue” award. Radio One Lebanon received “The Pan Arab Web Design Award for 2011”, and the “Facebook Awards 2012” and achieved 4 billion video views in 2018. As Content and Monetization Director for One Digital UAE in 2015, she serviced international clients in business digitization and digital platforms in the Gulf.
Cathryn is a qualified US certified Master NLP Practitioner and Business Coach with Train the Trainer Certification.
Through her work, she has gained vast experience and comprehensive knowledge in regulations, best practice trends for
business expansion, and marketing promotion.
Cathryn was Diaspora Outreach Director for Sawa during the 2022 electoral campaigns, is a founding member of Ittihadiyoun, and currently holds the office of Secretary for Foreign Relations and Diaspora Affairs with the National Liberal Party. She consults for policy
change, advocates for federalism, and works in diplomatic relations.
